Relaxing in a luscious warm bath is another great way to unwind. Not only does it give you a
chance to relax, unwind and drift your worries away but it also helps soften, revitalize and totally
cleanse your skin as well. But even though a bath can do all these wonderful things to your body
and soul it can also be harmful as well. While you are bathing your body is being deprived of body
fluids, so it is best to keep a large glass of water or cordial next to while you are relaxing in your
home spa. And also remember that the best time to bath is while your stomach is empty. So as long
as you have your large glass of water beside your bathtub and that your stomach is empty, you will
be able to unwind and relax using one of our spa recipes listed below.

Seaweed Spa






Seaweed baths are extremely therapeutic because of the large amount of minerals in them. Some of
the minerals seaweed provides are, calcium, potassium, iodine, iron, magnesium and vitamin A.

Ingredients:

3-4 ounces of dried seaweed
a pair of old stockings

Cut the stockings at the knees and fill them up with the seaweed. Tie the sea weed bags around
the tap of your tub and fill your tub up with water. Allow yourself to soak in the seaweed until you
feel the get or film (that will automatically cover your body from the seaweed) start to dissolve from
your body.

Cleopatra’s Spa Bath







Add 4 cups of powdered milk or buttermilk to your bath tub as it is filling with water and relax.
Be sure to rinse your body with water after your bath.


Citrus Bath






Ingredients:

½ cup of Sunkist lemon peels
1/2 cup Sunkist orange peels
2 cups milk powder
4 drops essential oils

When your bathtub is half full with water at the temperature that suits you best, add all of the
ingredients and continue to run your bath so that the ingredients are blended in nicely.


Aphrodisiac Bath





The essential oils in this bath will help you stimulate your sexuality.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons fresh cream
4 drops ylang ylang essential oil
3 drops neroli essential oil
2 drops bergamot essential oil

Mix all of the ingredients into a half filled tub, then continue running the tub to mix in all of the
ingredients.

Chamomile Milk Bath






This bath is excellent for winter as it softens and moisturizes dry winter skin.

Ingredients:

4 cups powdered milk

1 cup of boiling water
½ a cup of dried chamomile or five chamomile tea bags

Steam either the dried chamomile of chamomile tea bags in water. Strain the liquid and mix it with
the powdered milk and simply add to your bath while the water is running.

Violet Mud Bath






Will soften, cool and moisturize your skin.

Ingredients:

6 hand fulls of fresh violet flowers or leaves
3 cups of milk

Keep the flowers and the milk in a bowl for 5 hours and then pour into a running bath

Strawberry Milk Bath





This spa bath will come in handy when you have a fever, soar throat and will even calm your nerves

Ingredients:

8 large strawberries
2 cups of milk
1 tablespoon almonds
1 tablespoon wheat germ

Blend all the above ingredients in a blender and pour into a running bath

Sea Shore Bath





This spa will help improve your circulation, heal irritated skin, clear blemishes and condition your
skin.

Ingredients:

1 cup sea salt
¾ cups Epsom salt
½ cup bicarbonate of soda (baking soda)
2 drops essential oil of cedar
3 drops essential oil of clary sage
6 drops essential oil of orange
1 drop essential oil of neroli (orange flowers)
5 drops essential oil of bergamont (bee balm)

Mix all these ingredients together and add to the bath just before you step in to enjoy your spa.

Tangerine Bath






This spa will up lift and soothe you. It also helps control oily skin and helps diminish scars and
stretch marks.

Mix in a bottle 5 drops essential oil of tangerine, 3 drops essential oil of lavender, 1 drop essential
oil of pine needle (Siberian is especially fragrant), 1 handful fresh organic tangerine peel (large
sections) and 1/2 teaspoon jojoba oil and add this mixture to your bath just before you hop in to
enjoy your spa

Peppermint Bath







This spa comes in handy when you are suffering from headaches and nausea.


Ingredients:

4 cups of boiling water
2 cups of fresh peppermint
1 tsp of jojoba oil
1 drop peppermint oil
5 drops of tangerine oil
2 drops of neroli oil
2 drops of petit grain oil

Pour two cups of water of the peppermint. Cover and steep until cool and then strain it. You then
add all your oils to this mixture and add to your bath just before you step in to enjoy.

Chocolate Bubble Bath






Ingredients:

1 cup of unscented bubble bath
½ cup of dried powder soy milk
3 oz grated unsweetened chocolate

Mix the soy milk and unsweetened chocolate together until you are sure that it is mixed together
properly then stir into the unscented bubble bath. Simply add to your spa and enjoy

Tropical Bath






Ingredients:

1 cup of massage oil
10 drops of mango essential oil
10 drops of coconut essential oil
10 drops of gardenia essential oil
10 drops of ginger essential oil

Put all the above ingredients into a bottle and shake well. Add to your running bath and let the bath
take you to your to your own little tropical island.

Cherry Vanilla Bath






Ingredients:

¼ of a cup of distilled water
1 cup of unscented shampoo
2 tablespoons of rose water
1 tablespoon of liquid glycerin
½ teaspoon of table salt
5 drops of cherry essential oil
5 drops of vanilla essential oil

Whisk all the above ingredients together in a bowl and then simply add to running water and enjoy!
